Carpeter 20/cb-3 alloy (aslo called Carpenter N08020 alloy)is a chromium-nickel-molybdenum-copper corrosion-resistant alloy. It has good corrosion resistance in sulfuric acid, nitric acid and its mixed acid and It is mainly used in chemical, petrochemical, metallurgical and rare metal refining industries. Carpenter 20 wire mesh offers perfect corrosion resistance in stress cracking, crevice corrosion, intergranular attack and pitting. Because carpenter 20 wire mesh (Carpenter 20cb-3 wire mesh) has strong corrosion resistance to chlorides and sulfuric, phosphoric and nitric acids, it widely is used in many industries including pharmaceutical production, pickling tanks, synthetic rubber, gas scrubbers and pumps.
